Attractor Consulting was established with a guiding principle that sustainable change is best achieved by facilitating meaningful conversations, effective sharing and learning from experience.
We consider sharing and learning are vital to support well-informed and effective local decision-making.
To enable conversations and exchange to take place even more widely, we launched our Learning Network, extending the reach of Attractor far beyond the capacity of our consultancy interventions.
Attractor’s Learning Network is a free toolkit allowing managers and other practitioners to share thoughts, ideas and suggestions, join interest and discussion groups, raise and answer questions, contribute to open conversations and send private messages, sharing information to help each other.
To get the conversations going, Attractor has created a range of groups for particular topics and will be starting some new conversations to facilitate thinking about particular issues – areas where people may wish to consider –
- the effectiveness and efficiency of current practices,
- improvement priorities and initiatives,
- the deployment and implementation of various toolkits,
- the adoption and adaptation of new working practices or organisational models.
Attractor also supports another important principle – self organisation. New groups and can be established quickly if people want more “spaces” for conversation. There is no need to be constrained by the initial scope of the solution.
Attractor’s Learning Network will be maintained and expanded for as long as its user base finds it useful and, where we have expertise and experience that might be useful, Attractor plans to be an active partner – stimulating discussion and learning.
You are invited to join the conversation!
You can look through the Attractor’s Learning Network – User Guide – Version 2.0 – April 2011 if you want to learn more about the system.
If you think Attractor’s Learning Network would be useful for you and others, but you don’t know anyone in the network who can invite you, send us a message at enquiries@attractorconsulting.com. We want to generate active “Communities of Practice” which encourage sharing and learning.
